This page says how Just Health Life makes money, in enough detail that you can judge for yourself whether it colours what you read.
Where the money comes from today
Two places. Display advertising, served by Google AdSense, which is what pays for the hosting and the time. And the paid four-week plan, which is a product we sell directly and which is covered by its own terms of sale.
The advertising is chosen by Google, not by us. We do not pick the advertisers, we are not told in advance who they are, and we have no arrangement with any of them. An advert appearing next to an article is not a recommendation, and an advert for a product we have written about is a coincidence of Google’s targeting rather than a deal.
Affiliate links
An affiliate link is a link that pays the site a small commission if you buy something after clicking it, at no extra cost to you. There are no affiliate links on this site at the moment. If that changes, three things will be true of every one of them:
- It will be labelled on the page it appears on, next to the link, not only here.
- It will never be inside health advice. We will not tell you that a supplement helps and then sell you that supplement in the same breath.
- The recommendation will be the same one we would make with no commission attached, and the sources behind it will be listed as they are everywhere else.
When we join a specific programme, this page will name it and the date it started, so the record is checkable rather than a general permission slip written years in advance.
What we do not do
We do not accept payment to publish an article, to include a product, to change a conclusion, or to link to a site. We do not run sponsored posts. We do not sell placement in the calculators or in the plan. No advertiser, brand or agency has ever seen an article before it was published, and none will.
If any of that changes, it will be written here first, and the affected pages will say so on the page. The reasoning behind all of it is in our editorial policy.
Why this matters on a health site
Health content is one of the easiest places to hide a commercial motive, because the reader has no way to test the claim before buying. The defence is not a promise about our character; it is that every claim on this site names its source, so you can check the evidence without taking our word for anything.
