Email Updates

Leave your address and you get three emails over the first week, then nothing until there is something worth sending. This page says exactly what those three are, so you can decide before you type anything.

The three emails

  • Straight away. What to expect, and an invitation to the free seven-question plan if you want your own calorie and protein targets rather than general ones.
  • Day three. Three mistakes that stall most plans, and the fix for each. Portion drift, judging progress by a single morning, and cutting protein while cutting calories.
  • Day seven. How to tell whether what you are doing is working, and how long to give it before changing anything.

And then?

Honestly: not much yet. There is no weekly letter running today, and we would rather say so than promise one and go quiet. When there is, it will be one email carrying one number worth knowing with the study behind it, and you will already be on the list for it. If that is not what you signed up for, the unsubscribe link is in every email.

One list, not four

This is the same list the calculators and the plan quiz use, which matters for two reasons. You will not get the same thing twice for signing up in two places, and one unsubscribe click stops everything rather than one stream of it.

What we do not do

No daily sends, no countdowns, no “last chance”, no supplement affiliate blast written to look like an article. We do not sell or rent the list and we do not pass your address to anyone for their own marketing. If we ever have something to sell you it will be one line at the bottom of a normal email, and it will say plainly that it is one.

Leaving, and what we hold

Every email carries an unsubscribe link that works on the first click, with nothing to confirm. The unsubscribe page covers the other ways out and how to have the record itself deleted rather than only the sending stopped. What is stored, and for how long, is in the privacy policy.

Not medical advice

The emails carry the same limits as the site. Nothing in them is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and no number in them is a measurement of you. Our medical disclaimer is the full statement.
